Hello!  My name is Amanda Kellogg, and I am currently completing my Master's degree in education at Michigan State University as an online student.  For the past four years, I successfully taught kindergarten at Sandy Grove Elementary School in Hoke County, North Carolina.  

Prior to teaching kindergarten, I taught preschool  for three years in Kalamazoo, MI and will be forever grateful to Kalamazoo Country Day School for giving me my first opportunity to teach in my own classroom.

I discovered teaching where I had least expected to, in the country of Romania. My intention when I signed up for the Peace Corps was to volunteer my time and energy to help others using the few gifts that I felt I had to offer. When I walked into the recruiting office in the University of Michigan's student union, I had no idea that my gift would be teaching.
